Artist Statement:

Margaret Halpin is a studio artist at the Art Glass Center at Glen Echo Park. Her work is often abstract yet inspired by nature and travel experiences. Recent creative training includes classes at Haystack Mountain School, Bullseye Glass/Santa Fe, Weisser Glass, Vitrum Studio, as well as classes at the Glass Art Center. An NEA Fellow in International Programs, she holds a BA in Art from Hartwick College, an MA in Art Education from the State University College at Buffalo, and an MBA in Arts Administration from Binghamton University. Her work has been displayed in Washington, DC, Maryland, and New York.
