Artist Statement:
I was born and raised in northeastern Ohio, where I went to undergraduate and graduate school at Kent State University. I have received two Fulbright-Hayes Visiting Lectureships: Kenyatta University Nairobi, Kenya for two years and Irbid University in Jordan. I also was a visiting artist at Canberra Institute of Art in Australia. I am now retired as Professor Emeritus of Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland.
I have had two books published, “The Art of Contemporary American Pottery” and “American Pottery.” I have exhibited in numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally and live in Frederick, Maryland.
