Jan Solomon has been creating jewelry and other art for much of her life. In her jewelry making, she has worked with multiple media including beads, wire, glass, polymer, recycled materials, and in the last dozen years added silversmithing and bead crochet to her repertoire. She loves refining her skills and learning new techniques, and incorporates a variety of styles, some organic, some geometric, and uses stones, anodized aluminum, and repurposed materials in her pieces. She believes jewelry should be wearable, fun, make a statement, or be versatile, and she likes making pieces that can be worn multiple ways.
