Artist Statement:

Glass became my creative discovery in the new millenium. I love the luminosity of glass, the rich and varying colors, and the mystery inclusions like leaves or metal leaf create as they get vitrified. My designs are assembled from sheet glass and fired at up to 1500º F in a kiln, mostly in multiple firings, then shaped in a ceramic mold to give them a third dimension. I travel a lot and always gather inspiration, usually from nature. This and my unabashed love for colors show in my work.
