Joe Barnard is a third generation woodworker/craftsman, who started woodworking as a youth in 1970, and has continued since then. After a career as a biomedical scientist, he returned to woodworking in 2005 and has continued since then, with pieces in the Creative Craft Council exhibitions in 2017 and 2019, also exhibiting at Glen Echo's Art Walk this year, their Turning Wood into Art show this August, and their Vessels from our Trees Exhibition last September. He also has had pieces at Black Rock in Germantown, Maryland, and regularly sells as the Olney Farmers and Artists Market in Maryland.
