Shelly Shen is inspired by metalsmith and enameling work that give nonverbal expression of cultural themes and dynamics in her jewelry design work. She learned jewelry making at Montgomery College of Art. Her work was selected recently for a juried show at the Mansion of Strathmore Mansion, and is showing in Torpedo Factory Art Center, Alexandria, VA.
