Marla Rudnick

Jewelry

Marla Rudnick’s early studies of knitting and metal work merged into an exploration of knitting precious metals into wearable art.  Her jewelry creates a metal fabric which can be formed into necklaces, earrings, pendants and pins.  Each piece may be decorated with pearls, stones or simply adorned with gold or silver. In 2007 Marla received an Honorable Mention in Fiber from the Creative Craft Council of Washington, DC for her collar Petals in 2007 and an award for innovative use of materials in 2009 for Transition.
