Leslie Bowman-Friedlander has been making art quilts for the past 30 years and is a full time studio art quilter, maintaining a studio in Reisterstown, Maryland. She is primarily self taught.  She began dyeing her own fabrics after a workshop at Haystack and now works primarily with her own dyed and painted fabrics.
