Denise Dickens starts each season thinking about the luxury of orginal art fabrics she wants to use - cashmere, alpaca, heavy wovens for fall and winter, her own pen and ink drawings for the cotton rainwear fabric and taffetas and ikat for her evening wear. Next she thinks carefully about cut and fit and then embellishments. By the third sample, cutting and fitting, adding and taking away, she is ready to grade the pattern from the medium size up to a 1X and down to an extra small.

She produces both limited edition and one-of-a-kind garments using the most beautiful and practical fabrics available to her and creating clothing that has flair, style and enhances the beauty of the wearer.
