Lin Foa has been making fused glass for about 5 years, and has enjoyed learning from many of the masters in the field. Whether she’s making functional plates and bowls or experimenting with abstract hanging and sculptural works, fused glass allows her to explore the play of color, line, and form.  The combination of brilliantly reflective glass, heat processes, and cold work results in pieces that are unusual, sturdy, and often surprising.  Recently she has been combining fused glass with fiber, offering endless opportunity for discovery.
