New Artist!

A born artist, Hilary Hachey really found her niche when she picked up her first saw frame. Through years of study, apprenticeships, and benchwork she honed her skills as a metalsmith and developed the aesthetic she brings to you today.  Her minimalist designs are hand-fabricated in sterling silver and 18k gold.  She begins with sheet, wire, and tubing which she saws, solders, forges and forms to build the architecturally inspired works ruminating in her mind.  In 2015, she was honored by the Maryland State Arts Council with an Individual Artist Award. She lives and work in Baltimore City, but exhibits at festivals from coast to coast, as well as showing in independent galleries.
