Barbara Mann has been a producing studio potter since 1982. She likes to make table lamps (for which she makes her own shades from mulberry paper) bowls and lidded jars. Recently, she has been exploring a line of functional work, her Bamboo Collection.
Her work has been featured in such prestigious shows as American Craft Council (Baltimore and Atlanta), Chicago Botanic Garden, and she recently had a trunk show at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She draws influence from her love of botany and her enthusiasm for color. She holds a BS in Biology with a concentration in Botany and an MBA, and loves to tap dance.
