Sue Baum a D.C. resident since 1996, grew up and raised her family in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri.  Just 5 years ago, after finishing several fascinating careers, Baum began dabbling in clay at a local community center; now, she is a full blown clay addict and studies each summer at one or more of the famed east coast Craft Schools (Arrowmont, Penland, Haystack, and Shakerag), in addition to taking workshops at Baltimore Clayworks, The Art League (Alexandria) and yes, around the world, in Yi Xing, China.
